Ireland’s Legacy of Stone
My work on Ireland’s Legacy of Stone book involved sketching on
site in graphite and pastels, observing the colours and textures on how light and the elements have effected these megalithic sites through the millenniums.
1979 was the start of my many travels around Ireland to seek these megalithic structures with family and friends.
Over the years I travelled to each county, sketched, painted and recorded the most imposing sites for this book.
